Michelangelo Mini-Lesson

I was given the opportunity to present two lessons to the students in my practicum placement. This lesson is the first! 

I did a short presentation on the artist Michelangelo and his work on the Sistine Chapel ceiling.

After the presentation, I asked the kids to get under their tables and paint like Michelangelo did when he painted the ceiling, on their backs. This lesson was more of an exercise on process vs. product.

The kids complained at first and then began to enjoy it! Overall it went well- I reflected more in my Ed2500 Journal!
