The class was tasked with creating still-life paintings. Each painting needed to contain a fruit, an animal/humanoid character, and a dish. I used a squared dish, a stuffed crow, and two lemons. My objects are like a metaphorical self-portrait. Like the plate, I can be very rigid and square, like the crow I am intelligent and like shiny things, and like the lemons, I can sometimes be a little sour.
